education project

Education is the biggest treasure of mankind. We use it to empower the people to realize the natural problems we have to face and to change habits.

Indoor school activities
Why is the forest important? What happens if we destroy natural habitats of animals? Children learn about the beauty of nature in our presentations, discussions and workshops.

Empower thousands of school children to become a voice for positive environmental change in their communities is our goal with the free environmental education that we provide. The programs are offered at the cities of León and Estelí, the rural areas around them and eventually in other cities of the country.

Presentations, discussions, workshops and more bring Nicaragua’s school children closer to understanding the nature, its functions and its threats. Why is the forest important? What happens if we destroy natural habitats of animals? Why should we keep the water clean?

We use visual methods, dynamic activities, games, expositions and videos to show the beauty and importance of nature for children. The programs are offered for children from pre-school age to high school. We increase knowledge, love and care toward the environment. In the last year more than 4,700 children in about 50 schools participated.

Outdoor school activities
Visiting volcanoes, the zoo, the botanic garden and much more is always an amazing and fun time with the school classes. With every excursion we see more passion for the environment.

A great opportunity for student to get in touch of nature and increase their knowledge in a practical way. Besides to make sure that the fauna and flora arrives also into the heart of the children and not only for their logic understanding.

Nature adventures
‘If you see it you will feel it’ is the motto of this adventure project. We go out on the volcanoes, in the forests, to the rivers or to the mangroves to be close to the topics we teach.

Be out in the nature, explore the forest, experience the volcanoes and just enjoy the beauty of Nicaragua!

While being out on treks we discuss the nature’s wonders and facts around us and let the people see positive as well as negative examples we have caused to our environment. We offer diverse activities about different environmental topics; some of the places are just at the cities edge, others are at different parts of Nicaragua.

Environmental leadership course
A course of seven years with outdoor excursions, lessons and English classes form passionate and motivated nature lovers which raise their voice for positive environmental change.

7 years, 2 times a week and 5 groups of about 35 kids, that is the formula for a new generation of nature warriors. Through outdoor excursions, environmental discussions and English classes we form passionate and motivated nature lovers which raise their voice for positive environmental change.
